Education is something that I truly care about. It is sad that even in this day and age, so many people do not have access to a quality education. Teach for Nepal exists to tackle the astounding educational inequality students from government schools and remote areas face- whether it is the lack of resources or the shortage of qualified teachers in these schools.
This has been made so much worse by the earthquake. It is truly heartbreaking yet wonderful at the same time to hear that schools are now continuing to run in open grounds, and some teachers continuing to stay in their placements even if it meant having to live in a tent.
You can find out relief efforts of Teach for Nepal so far here: http://nepalrelief.teachfornepal.org/.
Education is the key to not only bring back some sense of normalcy in the children's lives at the present, but also give them a fair chance at succeeding in their future, despite their backgrounds.
So please get in touch! get your pictures taken and join me in helping this incredible organisation to continue making an impact on thousands of children's lives everyday!
